Madog Center and Greer Museum Collection, University of Rio Grande, Ohio The collection from Madog Center for Welsh Studies and Greer Museum at the University of Rio Grande, Ohio consists of an account book of Tabor Church and Peniel Church; Program of The Welsh Congregational Church Gymanfa Ganu in Cincinnati (1935); a copy of Florence Forsythe Evans’ Master of Music thesis which is a study on the Eisteddfod (1939); programs for the Rio Grande Eisteddfod / Eisteddfod of the Southern Ohio Eisteddfod Association (1921-1941); and a certificate presented at Rio Grande Eisteddfod (1938). Also included is a newspaper cutting of Dan T. Davis’ article on Ohio’s last charcoal iron-producing furnace; and a booklet depicting the story of the Welsh pioneers who emigrated to Jackson and Gallia counties in 1818.
